This is a review of the LG900g GSM phone with service provided through NET10 (who uses AT&T and T-Mobile as the service carriers). It comes standard with the A/C adapter, Activation Card, Services Guide, the battery, and of course, the phone. You might want to pick up a microUSB cable for transferring your songs and data from your computer. And I recommend that you get at a 4GB microSD memory card. Overall, I recommend that you at least take a look at this phone. I think the cost of the phone is worth it compared to the value of overall features that this phone has to offer. Pros: -Qwerty Keyboard -Lightweight; Small and fairly compact -FM Radio (thru headphones or the built in speaker) -MP3 Music Player -Voice recorder -Decent 2 megapixels photos and video -Good Sounding built in Speaker -Standard 3.5mm standard Headphone jack -Bluetooth – data and audio profiles -It’s inexpensive phone for those looking to upgrade from your basic phone -Reasonable service rates (NO Contracts! Unlimited costs /mo.) Cons: -Not really a “smart” phone (Usually those will have Windows Mobile, Android, Blackberry OS, Palm OS, etc. as the operating system.) -Little bit of hassle importing/exporting contacts -Limited browser capabilities with built in browser (no video streaming) -Does not include microUSB cable or microSD memory card -Needs a better manual (You can google the European model GW300) -Although full qwerty – keys are a tad squished together. But the keys have a good tactile …
Question by querry101: International calling using prepaid card?
As of the moment, I am in the U.S. I want to call someone in the Philippines. My phone carrier is T-Mobile and I have the 1000 mins. plan. Question is, if i use a prepaid card, will it show in the bill? Will there be any additional fees?
Best answer:
Answer by Ryan I noticed you used the phrase “As of the moment..” You are a real Filipino. Anyways, if you will use a prepaid card then the charge or minutes may not appear on your bill, but ask this question first, does your plan is also in prepaid? Or does your plan allows you to use prepaid cards? Contact your carrier though.
Question by SimonTomato: If I purchase a prepaid phone card to call from Europe, can I still use the sim card from T-mobile?
I’m going to purchase this prepaid phone card: http://www.zaptel.com/zaptel/index.cfm?fuseaction=customer.product&product_code=ABSOLUTEWORLDCARD&from_country_id=208&from_country=Italy&to_country=USA%20-%2048%20States&to_country_id=1&conversation=5&MinuteRate=0.135&connect_fee=0&Denoms=-25
Do I need to get a sim card also? Will T-mobile charge me for calling from Europe? Or should I just use the hotel telephones?
Thanks!
