Travelling to germany in few days. how can i buy a calling card (prefer virtual to physical) to call from germany before i actually go there?

Answer by t_maia2000 That is a bad idea. Your best bet is a calling card that you buy in Germany at one of the internet cafes and calling shops run by immigrants. Calling from one of the phones you can find in these internet cafes is also the cheapest way to call abroad.

I would like to be able to use the internet in Spain, wireless and everywhere, through a netbook or a blackberry. Do you need a special modem to do so? Can you do this through some sort of calling card? About what would it usually cost per hour to surf the web? How fast would it be, compared to cable wireless in the US? If yahoo answers allows, can you suggest any particular calling card or whatever?

Answer by James C Yes you can use a high speed card provided by a your cell phone provider. They generally connect though PCMCIA, USB, or PC express. Mine runs about $ 60 a month and can be used anywhere you get cell phone service. Some companies charge extra when out of the country based on your usage others allow you to pay a $ 20 +/- fee to have unlimited in another country. I know Verizon and AT&T are both good for this. Give one of them a call and they can help you iron out the details.

we use restricted computers which have only skype,and yahoo messenger. we are looking for cheap international calling cards (5 dollar) that can be used via skype or yahoo messenger ,
