Question by Kitten: Can I use an International Calling Card with My Cell Phone?
I’m in Australia and want to call home. I have the international plan set up on my cell, but its still more expensive than a calling card. If I use a calling card from my cell, does ATT charge me the minutes as well? In other words, will I be paying for the calling card AND $ 1.29 a minute for the call by ATT?

Yes. I am using that. I just dial local access number and then use calling card for the long distance international call. You can get a calling card such as http://phonecards.comli.com/ for very cheap international calls using local access numbers.

I have a calling card and am trying to call someone’s cell phone who is in Egypt. I am in the US. I keep trying my calling card number, followed by my card number, followed by 011-022-and the number but this is not working. Please help?

is he using rooming? or he’s using an egyptian number ? if he’s using rooming you should dial your card number then his number .. if he’s using an egyptian number dial your card number then 002 then his egyptian number

Question by Young Fun: If i used an international calling card to call a friend who had 0 minutes on their cell phone, would it work?
They have a cell phone where they purchase minutes to use it. But if i had an international calling card… (since they are out of the country) would they be able to receive my calls and talk to me?
Additional:
They currently have no money on their phone. All the money is gone. If i’m using a calling card would it actually use their minutes?
Or would it ONLY charge my calling card?

We can not answer this as we have no way of knowing if your friend’s mins are used only for outgoing calls.

I recently broke my T-Mobile phone and my friend has offered to give me her AT&T Motorola Razr because she wants to upgrade phones anyway. So could I just use my sim card and use that Razr? Would I need to call t-mobile or something? thanks

The phone would have to be unlocked. AT&T will not do it. Use google and see what your options are.
