Question by curious cat: How can you use a fax machine without having long distance? Can you use a pre-paid calling card?
I was told you can use a pre-paid calling card but I must have done something wrong. If you have an answer please go into detail so that I may understand it. Thanks!

A fax call is like a regular call.
Use the fax machine to enter your calling-card info and the calling number, then press send.

will my minutes on the prepaid cell phone be affected as well? cruise is from miami to bahamas.

What is so important that you can’t afford to be out of contact for a few days? You’re on vacation!

But you have to have a phone that operates on the global, GSM frequencies and not the CDMA commonly found in the US. And you will be assessed roaming charges…..

Question by germX: smart international roaming prepaid sim card has “no service” on cell phone?
Help…. my cell phone is not recognizing the “smart sim” card. It says, no service. When I initially placed the sim card into the phone it worked. I did receive a few text messages confirming the load I added to the sim card but when I attempted to send a text it went from having service to no service. I am using an unlocked iPhone 3GS.

well, you should lock your phone, the card probably isnt in tight enough with it unlocked
